Treyvauds Restaurant Killarney
During these strange ,unprecedented times with all things COVID-19 related, we are all on the lookout for some light relief, a bit of craic and a laugh. I came across a cook along for all the family on Facebook hosted by well-known chef Paul Treyvaud.
Paul runs a restaurant in the heart of Killarney town and wanted to bring families together to cook during these times. This was a genius concept, it has kept many of us sane while we have never had so much time together on our hands. For our teenagers and young people I think it is a much-needed lesson in life. From personal experience my own two boys could barely have boiled an egg.
Paul along with his two sons Seanie on camera and his assistant Dyl’s , give us a much needed laugh while teaching us adults and kids how to cook fabulous meals like Prawn Risotto , the perfect burger and pizza from scratch (yum) with all his tips and tricks revealed to us along the way , along with his hilarious “sizzle dance “ and taking the Mick out of his two sons, it really is a heartwarming uplifting experience.
All that’s left to say is thank you Paul, Seanie and Dyl’s for lifting our spirits at a time when its most needed . Keep up the good work guys and we look forward to your next inspiring cook along.
